Thursday, December 12th

The Improvinators

FREE admission and FREE & plentiful parking! Why pay for comedy when you can enjoy it for FREE! The full bar will be open all evening and the Plaza Cafe' will be serving up the BEST burgers ever starting at 6:30 pm. 

Friday, December 13th

Holiday Mingle

Mix and mingle, and join the Alachua Conservation Trust for cocktails and nibbles. Gather around the fire, and celebrate the season with friends, music and good cheer this Friday, December 13th beginning at 6pm. Live music will help set the mood for holiday cheer! No RSVP required and the event is free and open to the public.

Saturday, December 14th

Black & Gold Masquerade Ball 

"This is the premier event for all the grown and sophisticated in the Gainesville area" so if this applies to you, check out the Black and Gold Masquerade Ball! The Black and Gold Masquerade Ball will be on Saturday from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. at the Emerson Alumni Hall in Gainesville. All of the proceeds from this event will go towards the 2020 College Scholarship Fund. Come out and join the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha.

Jazz on the Green at Celebration Pointe

On Saturday, December 14 from 7-9 p.m., check out Jazz on the Green at Celebration Pointe. "Relax with live jazz while enjoying food, drinks, lawn games and more." This event is completely free and open to the public. While you walk around Celebration Pointe, you should check out the other bars and restaurants there such as MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company and Florida and Miller's Ale House.

Sunday, December 15th

Celebrations Around the World

On Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., make a visit to Celebration Pointe for their Celebrations Around the World. Celebrations Around the World showcases, "holiday festivities from around the world, cultural performances, international cuisine, and native arts and crafts!" What better place to celebrate diversity than at Celebration Pointe. Even better, admission is free!

One thing's for sure, enjoy the Florida sunshine before it disappears for winter. Even in Florida, it'll get cold soon!
