The Annual Oktoberfest event in the Haile Village Center is this Friday, October 13th from 5-10 p.m. This festival is a Gainesville favorite bringing Gainesville residents from all over town to enjoy great music, food, and, of course, beer! It's a showcase for all of the village merchants and specialty beers like the Belgian Blonde Cream Ale or Pumpkin Spiced Mead are sure to get everyone in the fall spirit.

Gainesville resident Taylor Myers says, “I’ve been going to Oktoberfest since I was a kid. I’ve made some great memories at that festival! ”

The Annual Oktoberfest event at Haile Village Center usually brings in an average of 4-5,000 people to enjoy the festivities and is family friendly. You'll find bounce houses, face painting and photo stations for pictures. Local businesses light up the street offering everyone’s fall favorites from warm apple cider to pumpkin flavored baked goods. Live music can be heard throughout the village streets. People gather to dance and hang out with friends and Cameron’s Dance Center located in Haile Village puts on an eerie performance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in the street. The dance performance always gathers a large crowd and is a must see!

You don't have to be a resident of Haile Village to enjoy the fun, just head down 9116 SW 51st Road this Friday, October 13th at 5 p.m.
