Mother’s Day is quickly approaching on May 13, and it's a holiday you definitely don’t want to forget. Sometimes the best gift you can give your mother is some quality time, and what better way to do that than take her out to a Mother’s Day brunch? If your mother appreciates a fine gourmet meal, Ember’s Wood Grill knows how to put together an elegant brunch menu. The buffet-style menu includes 27 decadent choices in appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The buffet includes their award-winning blue crab bisque, beef short rib stuffed with piquillo peppers, and Belgian chocolate torte just to highlight a few of the menu options. The brunch is $45 a person, which does not include drinks or gratuity. Children ages 6 and under can dine for $15 each.
Another elegant brunch will be available at Backstreet Blues Chophouse and Oyster Bar for Mother’s Day. The brunch includes a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, eggs-to-order station, prime rib cutting station, and a variety of entrees to choose from. Former White House Chef, Ed Lyons, will prepare the brunch, which is $34.99 per person and $15.99 for children.
Francesca’s will be hosting a Mother’s Day brunch that would make any Italian mother happy. The buffet menu will include a few Italian dishes such as Shrimp and Goat Cheese Penne Pasta and Stuffed Chicken Roulade a la Francesca. They will be serving some classic brunch options as well, such as Salmon Gravlax and Bagel and Belgian waffles. Brunch is $39.99 a person, and children under 10 can dine for $16.95 a person.
If you’re looking for an activity with brunch, The Fat Tuscan Café is having a Mother’s Day High Tea and cooking class. The day will start with high tea including scones, cucumber sandwiches, and hot tea. There will be unlimited sangria and mimosas available. After high tea, the owner of the Fat Tuscan Café will instruct biscotti-making class where everyone will create there own and have some to take home after; the class with brunch is $40 a person.
For a more casual Mother’s Day brunch, Crafty B'astards will be having a brunch featuring their regular brunch menu and a Bloody Mary bar.
