What better way to get your drink on than enjoying some of Gainesville’s best margaritas? Read our list and check out these bueno spots for your own fiesta!

Boca Fiesta

Speaking of fiestas, this eclectic restaurant functions as downtown’s only Mexican-style restaurant. While you’re indulging in your complimentary chips and salsa, try one of their 100% agave margaritas. Since Cinco de Mayo, Spring Commencement. and the Kentucky Derby all fall on Saturday, Boca Fiesta invites you to join an afternoon of margaritas and horse racing leading up to a Dance Party with DJ Viking Prince and DJ J-Cruz at 9:00 pm. Can’t make it? They also host happy hour every Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7pm along with an all-day Sunday Funday. Once you’re done with your Mexican eats, hop on over to The Back Yard Bar or Palomino Pool Hall. The venue serves as three bars wrapped into one, so there's more opportunity to enjoy your fresh squeezed, agave-sweetened margarita.
