Proud to be “inherently Floridian,” Swamp Head started in 2008 with the purpose of creating beers that truly represented the state and made Floridians proud. In staying true to Florida, they also try to reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible by sourcing as many local products as they possibly can and working with like-minded companies who are environmentally-conscious.
Swamp Head offers tours and a great outdoor area for kids and pets as well as a great food truck schedule for every day of the week. Swamp Head’s signature brews are Wild Night, Cottonmouth, Midnight Oil, Big Nose, and Stump Knocker with the exception of a few seasonal brews. Beer lovers are sure to find a new favorite brew at Swamp Head.

First Magnitude was created in 2012 by a group of friends to not only make excellent beer but to also build awareness and appreciation for Florida's springs as well as be big part of their community. This Gainesville brewery has truly done this by providing a vast selection of beers and ciders; you can't go wrong at First Magnitude.
They also have food trucks appear often as well as a big outdoor area with picnic tables and even a stage for live music. Their signature beers are Vega, 72 Pale Ale, Drift, and URSA, and they also offer season beers, too!

Blackadder is a husband and wife owned-and-operated microbrewery with a quaint pub vibe close to Downtown Gainesville and I-75. Chris and Sissy collectively have earned over 30 medals in beer competitions throughout Florida and the U.S., so you know you're in for a great beer!
Blackadder also has a full schedule for upcoming food trucks as well as awesome events they host throughout the year like Taps & Tapas, their monthly Brew & View, and even their own take on Oktoberfest, just to name a few. With 40 beers and ciders on tap, you’ll feel cozy and well taken care of in this old-timey-feeling brewery.
Blonde Ale, Pale Ale, IPA, Stout, Porter, and American Wheat Ale are the signature beers Cypress and Grove have to offer. What makes Cypress and Grove so unique, you may ask? Originally built in 1903 as an ice and cold storage factory, the building was an ice provider for Gainesvillians.
In addition, Cypress and Grove was also constructed on the old railroad tracks that ran through Gainesville. There's also a 700 ft. aquifer-fed well attached to the brewery, and the water from this well is used as a not-so-secret ingredient in a few of the brews.
