INTRODUCING HAWK: Hernando Adaptive Wellness for Kids - "Mindfulness in Motion" Program
During the celebration, House of Light will be introducing our new "Hernando Adaptive Wellness for Kids," or HAWK, program called, "Mindfulness in Motion." This program is offered exclusively by House of Light and we will be working with different organizations and our school system to bring mindfulness practices to the children in our area suffering emotional, behavioral and mental health disabilities - kids who need it desperately - in our community. Through our HAWK program, we will introduce children to coping skills, self-regulation skills, increased concentration, improved self-esteem as well as physical fitness. Please see our HAWK information page to learn more about the empowering benefits of yoga and mindfulness for children: www.houseoflightyoga.net/HAWK
Consider being a proud HAWK sponsor and getting involved to help us reach out to the many children in need in our schools.
We are accepting donations to our HAWK program and 100% of donations will go to pay qualified teachers/instructors as well as for materials used in class. None of the funds raised will be used for administrative costs. Sponsors will
