Description
Rudram Dance Company and Shruti Foundation jointly present a unique event coming to Ocala for the first time. A combination Indian Music and Dance event set to mesmerize even those new to Indian performing culture.
Event Details
The first half of the concert will be North Indian Instrumental Music involving Sarod & Tabla - a Duet by Arnab Chakrabarty from Toronto, performing on Sarod (a unique, fretless indian String instrument) and Shankhachur Lahiri joining him on the Tabla (Indian Drums).
The second half of this family-friendly event features an Indian Dance performance in the Bharatanatyam style, entitled 'Padma'- Visions of Krishna -under the tutelage of Tara Bikkasani.
