Celebrate your love with a LIBRARY DANCE PARTY in Gainesville! This event is a membership drive and benefit for the Civic Media Center.
Event Details
Have you always wanted to have a thumping dance party in a library? The Civic Media Center is hosting a series of dance parties this year to grow our membership and support healthy community enagagement. Curious about the independent library and activitist space? Check out the CMC website for more information.
What to expect:
People dressed up for a dark Valentine's experience. Dressing up is not required, but is highly encouraged. Gothic, Victorian, fancy, and lacey things are a good start. When in doubt, wear black.
Music from many genres to dance to AND you get to request more. There's a community Spotify Playlist to add to here.
Family friendly, all ages dance party. FYI-Bad words in lyrics is the only thing we won't be removing for the night. Make the best decision for your own kids.
