St. Pittie's Day Dog Adoption Celebration

In honor of St. Patrick's day, Alachua County Animal Services is offering $17 pet adoptions on all Pit mix breed dogs starting Tuesday, March 19th and ending Saturday, March 23rd, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Animal Services Headquarters (3400 NE 53rd Ave, Gainesville).
Each pet will receive a free pet id tag made possible by a grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
Pet adopters must be 18 or older, and show ID with proof of current address. If there are already pets in the home, the potential adopter must show proof that owned animals are current on rabies vaccinations and license. All dogs and cats available for adoption are examined, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered before leaving Animal Services.
