Santa Fe College was established in 1966 in Gainesville, Florida, and offers 89 associate degrees, 7 bachelor's degrees and 44 professional certificates.
Also, SF has strong ties with the University of Florida; in fact, nearly 70 percent of UF applicants are accepted annually, more than all other Florida state colleges combined. In March of 2015, the Aspen Institute officially announced that SF was "Best in the Nation” as they were the winner of the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
