South Moon Farms, established in 1984, is a u-pick blueberry farm located in Cross Creek, FL. We sell 2 varieties of organically grown (not certified) blueberries, Rabbiteye and Highbush.

Our season typically opens mid to late May. We advertise primarily on our Facebook page and website http://upickblueberriesgainesville.com for season open dates, pricing, etc.

Cross Creek is a small town also referred to as Hawthorne. It was made famous by the author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings for her book "The Yearling".

We are just a few minutes away from Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings State Park, where you can tour Marjorie's homestead and may even participate in a few homesteading activities.
