2 days ago Reacts Survey results: Jarrian Jones has plenty of fans in Duval
Photo by Don Juan Moore/Getty Images Jaguars fans liked the Jones selection most among the team’s non-first-round picks. This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans which 2024 draft pick they liked the most. The majority of respondents chose first-round selection Brian Thomas Jr., and second place went to four-year Seminole Jarrian Jones. Kicker Cam Little was the most popular Day 3 pick. “We identified [Jones] early on in the process,” general manager Trent Baalke said after Day 2. “We had the scouts in there during the fall of the year, identifying him as an upper-level prospect ... You love his energy; you’re going to feel it. We just got off a Zoom call with him; you’ll feel his energy as soon as he gets here. He loves football. You can’t have enough of those guys. The game is hard and guys that just like it, struggle when things get tough. When guys love it, they fight through adversity. He’s a young man that’s had a lot of adversity in his life, will continue to fight through it and you just love his passion.” We also asked Jags fans whether they viewed the team as a “winner” or “loser” following the draft. A nicely sized portion of respondents believe Jacksonville was a winner. Let us know your thoughts in the comments! Check out DraftKings Sportsbook, the official sportsbook partner of SB Nation.
