Spend a week immersed in comics, learning from cartoonist and fan favorite Jackie E. Davis. From March 2-6, 2020, Jackie will lead a workshop for cartoonists of all levels at the Sequential Artists Workshop, in Gainesville, FL.
Jackie E. Davis is the creator of Underpants and Overbites! It's a diary comic all about her often funny, but occasionally serious tiny human life. Frequent themes and characters include her relationship with her husband Pat, childhood memories, her adorable mom, those darn student loans, and just how confusing life as a human on this planet can be.
At this workshop, Jackie will guide students in short comics projects, giving individual feedback and leading exercises in idea generation, cartooning and painting. The Sequential Artists Workshop invites you to come and hone your craft at this invigorating workshop.
Sliding Scale Tuition Options: $300, $350, $450, $700 for students with institutional support
