Spend a week immersed in comics, learning from Leslie Stein, cartoonist and 2018 LA Times Book Prize winner. From March 4-8, 2019, Leslie will lead a workshop for cartoonists of all levels at the Sequential Artists Workshop, in Gainesville, FL.
Leslie’s comics capture the many delights and surprises that come from paying attention—they are vibrant, spontaneous, and above all “present.” She is known for her journal comics (published regularly in the New Yorker, Vice, and collected in Bright-Eyed at Midnight and Present) as well her series, Eye of the Majestic Creature.
