Come join the fun for FREE! Dr. Liva LaMontagne with the University of Florida/IFAS Extension will teach couples effective and proven skills

Increase positive communication, manage stress, set financial goals, deal with differences, and maintain a happy and healthy friendship bond.
This exciting workshop, call ELEVATE, will be held once a week for 5 weeks at the University of Florida, McCarty Hall B, room 3096, Gainesville, FL 32611. Classes will be held from 6:00-8:30 pm on MONDAYS Aug. 20th, Aug. 27th, 3rd class TBD*, Sept. 10th, and Sept. 17th. (*There will be no class on September 3rd in observance of Labor Day.)
A FREE light MEAL will be served at each class and you may be eligible for GIFT CARDS. Parking is FREE.
PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED.
Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant: #90FM0079. These services are available to all eligible persons, regardless of race, gender, age, disability or religion.

What if we can’t come to every session?
The benefits of ELEVATE are much greater if you can attend all sessions, but we understand that “life happens.” The first session is required for registration purposes.
What if I have transportation or childare issues that make it hard for me to get to class?

Since sessions are typically offered during dinner hours, will food be provided?
Yes. A light meal will be served from 6:00-6:30 p.m. If you have dietary restrictions, please contact Dr. Liva LaMontagne at (352) 273-3539 or liva.lamontagne@ufl.edu so meals can be planned accordingly.
