Join us as we celebrate the 60 year anniversary for Altrusa International of Gainesville and the 20 year anniversary for Altrusa House. Come and share in the stories and testimonies of how the Altrusa House went from a community vision to a reality.
Event Details
Altrusa House of Gainesville opened its doors in October of 1998. The facility was built on land graciously donated by the City of Gainesville. Altrusa International of Gainesville and the Gainesville community continue to provide volunteers and support for member sponsorship, equipment, and specialized support.
This event celebrates the mission of Altrusa House and will share the rich history of how Altrusa House became what it is today. Proceeds from this event help generate the financial resources necessary to support our clients and assist with upgrades to our facility. Every day, Altrusa House makes a difference in the lives of our clients. We invite you to join us as we celebrate those in the community who took this concept to reality.
